So claim the organizers of this year’s “Nuit Blanche sur Tableau Noir” festivities! I gotta admit, this year’s Tableau Noir certainly seems like it will set itself apart from the plethora of other activities going down around the ville. What’s the big deal about this one? Read on…

Really, think of it as a huge street celebration — everything from street performers, musical acts, street painters (actually using the street as their canvas), projections, poetry, alternative art forms, films, and let’s not forget the street bargains from local merchants! Some collaborations include a planisphere workshop and star gazing activity served up in conjunction with the Planetarium as well as a major sundial presented by Communauto. There will also be duos displaying art displays such as graff, body painting, oil painting, and 3D grass creations.

You can savour some of the events of Nuit Blanche sur Tableau Noir between June 11-14 along Mont-Royal between St. Laurent and Iberville. More info as well as a list of events can be found at Hope to see you there!
