Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s cunning and bold six word story, “For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn.”, McGill is now modelling their “Campaign McGill” fundraiser around this very idea! Quite simply, faculty and alumni are invited to submit their own stories online. The public is then invited to vote for the ones they like best.

Now you’d figure there’s some sort of juicy prize involved with all this. Well in all honesty, there isn’t: “The three authors who garner the most votes will each win a McGill hooded sweatshirt, and the McGill News will profile them in its fall issue, giving you the whole story behind the six words”.
