An annual tradition since 1987, Montreal’s Museum Day will be held May 31. Explore how Montreal envisions and showcases everything from art to history to science all free of charge as30 museums across the island open their doors to the public!

Better yet, there will be 6 free shuttle buses between 9 am and 4:30 pm that will escort patrons from museum to museum. The 6 routes also converge at the Pierre-Charbonneau centre (Viau metro — Green Line), providing a central correspondence point. The routes are divided as follows:

  • Red route: Old Montréal
  • Blue route: Montréal East and the Latin Quarter
  • Yellow route: Downtown West side
  • Purple route: Île Sainte-Hélène (Parc Jean-Drapeau)
  • Green route: West Island (Pointe-Claire and Lachine)
  • Lilac route: Montréal West and Ahuntsic

Last year’s Museum Day recorded a record 135,000 participants!
